Ex-Mulu Day 1 - Deer Cave / Langs Caves / Bat Watching - On arrival meet and greet upon arrival at Mulu Airport and transfer to Benarat Lodge for check in. At noon have lunch at Sg. Pala Restaurant. After lunch transfer to Mulu National Park for a visit Deer and Lang's Caves. Trek for about 3km through the amazing tropical rainforests. Discover Lang Caves and its beautiful formation, and walk through the World's largest cave entrance the Massive Deer Cave. Relax at the open-air observatory for an opportunity to witness the phenomenon exodus of bats out of the caves, spiralling high overhead and ascend to the sky where they will search for food. Return to Park HQ and transfer by van to Benarat Lodge. Overnight. (L/D) Day 2 - Penan Settlement / Wind Cave / Clearwater Cave / Canopy Sky Walk - After breakfast we take a long tail boat ride to Penan Settlement. Bargain for souvenir or just listen to these ones nomadic tribes of Sarawak regale you with fascinating stories of headhunters, tribe's wars, and witchcraft and folklore tales. Continue boat ride and explore the Wind Cave and Clearwater Caves. After visiting both caves, enroute back to Sg Pala for lunch. In the afternoon transfer to Mulu National Park for Canopy Sky Walk Mulu, where you find the world's longest cave passage, the widest limestone cave system, the largest unsupported cave chamber, the oldest rainforest and now, the world's longest tree-based canopy skywalk. The canopy skywalk allows park visitors to see the jungle the way the apes see it, from the midst of leafy green. It is nearly half a kilometre long, suspended 20 meters above the forest floor. The gently swaying canopy walk consists of a series of plank bridges, safely fenced in with netting and held by stout cables. Each bridge is anchored between two tall trees surrounded by a platform where sky walkers can stop, catch their breath, and peer into the lush jungle canopy. Return to resort for Overnight (B/L/D) Day 3 - After breakfast, transfer to Mulu airport. (B)
