Sepilok Orang Utan & Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkeys

08:00am - Meet upon arrival on MH2042 ETA 0740hrs and take a 30 minutes transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Orphaned and injured Orang-utans are brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return to forest life. Sepilok is a primary lowland forest, a fine showcase of Borneo’s remaining rain forest. Witness the feeding of Orang Utan from a platform in the forest. Watch the scheduled video documentary show at the Sepilok Information building. The 20 minutes video show will give you an insight of the Orang Utan rehabilitation process and its threats to survival.
14:00pm - Proceed to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, the journey via gravel road will drive through oil palm and orchard farm. This is home to the endemic Proboscis monkey. These huge bellied long-nosed primates live by the river and active during late afternoon when they are socializing. Witness the Proboscis monkey in their natural habitat when they come to feed for their supplementary food.
Transfer to Sandakan airport for your return flight to Kota Kinabalu at MH2065 ETD 1730hrs. (Lunch)
