The Resort offers guests three choices of accommodation.
Bumbung -
These rooms are situated above the Serambi Rooms and are similar in size
and furnishings. They do not have private terraces but the windows open
out to a magnificent view of the ocean and gardens.
Serambi Room-
Situated on the ground floor of a two-storey building, there are 44
rooms in all. Each room is approximately 55 square metres in size, and
features a queen-size bed and a huge in-door bathroom with two vanity
units, bath and shower facilities. A partially covered verandah
overlooks the tropical gardens and is perfect for sun bathing.
Anjung Room
-
Situated along the beachfront, there are 10 single-storey beach rooms,
which are approximately 88 square metres in size. Each room is furnished
with a king-size bed, as well as a sofa bed. A symmetrical sunken
outdoor bath is set in its own private garden, while an in-door bathroom
features two vanity units, and a large indoor shower. The doors and
windows open out into a canopied verandah overlooking the beautifully
landscaped tropical gardens and sea.
FACILITIES
The Tanjong Club - This club houses the gymnasium and
therapy complex with two spa pavilions. The gym is equipped with
state-of-the-art equipment, from cardiovascular machines to free
weights, to suit a variety of needs. The "Well-Being" Centre
offers various therapeutic programmes for relaxation and stress relief.
The choice of massages includes traditional Malay, Swedish, Thai,
Aromatherapy and Foot Reflexology. There are also body treatments such
as Javanese Lulur, Thai Herbal and Campur-Campur, which combine massage
and body scrubs with herbal baths to stimulate energy flow. A Batik
sarong is presented with each treatment as a keepsake.
Pools -
There
are two swimming pools here, a free-form pool near the Teratai Terrace
and lobby, and another adjacent to the beach near the Tanjong Club. Each
pool has towels and deck chairs for sun lovers, and refreshments are
served at the pool deck.
Tennis Courts
- Situated
near The Tanjong Club, there are two tennis courts, which open daily at
no extra charge. Rackets are available for hire and balls may be
purchased at the Gift Shop.
Library -
A
wide variety of magazines and multi-lingual novels can be found in the
library, which is located in a quiet, cosy corner within the Resort.
Gift Shop
& Boutique
- Situated behind the Reception area, this is a convenient spot to look
for sundry items and gifts for family and friends. Items sold here
include local handicraft, Kelantan Silverware, Batik and toiletries.
Conference
Hall - Ideally
situated away from the beach and recreational areas near the tennis
courts, the conference hall is able to accommodate between 80 and 100
people. It is a perfect venue for corporate conferences and meetings as
well as themed events. Themed events may also be arranged to take place
in the garden or on the beach, providing guests with a unique dining
experience.
FOOD
& BEVERAGE
Di Atas
Sungei
"Di Atas Sungei" is Malay for "Above The River" so
guests will find it easy to spot this restaurant which literally sits
above a river that flows into the South China Sea. Surrounded by lush
tropical greenery and shaded by a huge Ketapang tree, the restaurant
opens for breakfast and dinner, and serves authentic Malaysian cuisine.
Teratai
Terrace The Teratai Terrace
is situated adjacent to the free-form pool. Light meals and refreshments
are served through the day. Ideal for pre-dinner or after-dinner drinks
to the soothing sound of the Gamelan music and a cool breeze from the
sea.
The
Nelayan "Nelayan"
is Malay for "Fisherman", and seafood is indeed the speciality
of this outlet, with its relaxed and informal atmosphere. Situated by
the sea, a variety of local and Western light meals are served for
lunch. The Resort's own fishermen bring in the catch of the day for
dinner. When the weather permits, a delightful alfresco dining
experience is featured on the beach amidst a bonfire, bamboo torches and
the gentle sound of the waves
Beca
(Trishaw) This mobile bar,
in the form of a trishaw, makes its hourly rounds along the promenade
overlooking the sea. It serves soft drinks, beers and young coconuts -
the perfect thirst quenchers.
