ROOM
AMENITIES
There are 22 Malay style wooden chalets on stilts with bathrooms en
suite. Each is sea facing and has its own private verandah. Six of the
chalets are purpose built for family bookings (6 people), i.e. adjoining
rooms with a double bed one side and 2 bunk beds the other side, one
bathroom on the back and one verandah on the front. Five of the chalets
can accommodate 2 extra beds, nine can accommodate 1 extra bed. The
other two are doubles. The decor is simple but adequate and in harmony
and keeping with the natural style and colours of the environment. There
are large overhead fans and 24 hour electricity rather than air
conditioning. There is absolutely nothing nicer than going to sleep with
the windows open listening to the sound of the ocean and the rustle of
the palm trees. That's what an island holiday is all about !
Each chalet has a private
verandah with sea view and an overhead fan, bedside lamps, shelves,
hanging space & hooks. Mosquito nets, linen, bath towels and beach
towels are provided. Bathrooms are en suite with overhead shower, hand
shower, sink and toilet. On request the resort provide booster steps for
toddlers to reach sinks, baby baths & hooded baby towels, cots with
mossy nets, bed guards and even soft cosy baby blankets.

There is a small shop in the
bar which sells a selection of toiletries, various sun-lotions and
potions, postcards, films, cameras and batteries. It also carries a
large selection of crisps, Pringles, nuts, biscuits, chocolate, sweets

luggage. (As a bonus it prevents little 'jungley creatures' enjoying
snacks you may have in your room !) The Bar Shop also sells ice cream.
The big shop at Linda's house sells T shirts, polo shirts, singlets,
caps, sarongs and various swimming aides and beach equipment.
