Kayaking
Sheltered from disruptive swells, Gayana's sea top offers a
gentle kayaking experience packed with loads of adventure. An expert
will be glad to show you the way, or become a mock-member of the hit
show "Survivor" as you explore the tropical bays around you. After a
satisfying escapade at the sea, rest at shore while we set up a
scrumptious picnic for you at your chosen bay. Paddle your way to the
nearby mangroves and be transported to a timeless journey. As the sounds
around you slowly mute, allow yourself to drift into a meandering path
into the shaded mangroves. Hear the lap of waves soothe away, as
Hornbills and jungle friends welcome you to their private lodging.
Jungle trekking
Trek through our very own tropical rainforest boasting 40% of
Malaysia's flora and fauna. Situated just next to our poolside
restaurant, trekkers would enjoy a splendid two hour trail into the
island's hidden treasures. Along the way, allow our experienced local
guide to point out our jungle's hidden secrets. As you pass through
green wood paths, watch little butterflies flutter in a dance as you
make your way to our look out point. From there, a breathtaking view of
the islands and endless sea will hold you captivated, as you sip on
refreshing bottles of water with compliments. Impromptu trekking is of
no worry. Allow us to provide you with your every need.

THE ALU ALU SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
The Alu Alu Restaurant offers diners a magnificient view of
Malohom Bay and the marine life in the waters surrounding the resort.
Here, guests will enjoy a sumptuous meal of some of the freshest and
most mouth-watering seafood in Sabah. The Alu Alu is also available for
groups and corporate bookings.
THE FUSION POOLSIDE RESTAURANT
The Fusion Poolside Restaurant is a new addition to Gayana Eco
Resort's amenities. Fronting the infinity pool and the sea, guests will
be able to relax and dine at the same time.
GAYA LOUNGE
Unwind in style at the Gaya Lounge located at the lobby with your
favorite beverage and book or magazine accompanied by a stunning view of
the tranquil waves. Books, magazines and newspapers are also readily
available for your reading pleasure.
GETTING
AROUND
The largest of these islands is
Pulau Gaya upon which the luxurious Gayana Eco Resort is located, just
20 minutes by boat from Kota Kinabalu itself. Pulau Gaya is home to
numerous species including Toucan hornbills, monitor lizards, macaque
monkeys and countless number of marine life and the Gayana Eco Resort is
nestled in the tropical wilderness along the shores of Gaya Island and
here, visitors will be caressed by the gentle lapping waters of the
South China Sea and have their senses relaxed and rejuvenated by the
sounds and mystery of the surrounding rainforest and reef.

Note :
Before boarding the ferry (at the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal jetty),
kindly register yourself at the Gayana Eco Resort counter which is
located at the ferry terminal building. Please be at the ferry terminal
at least 10 minutes before departure. The ferry departs according the
above schedule. Transfers outside of the scheduled ferry times are
available at RM150.00 per way. The ferry operator reserves the right to
change the ferry schedule without prior notice.
The journey to Gayana Eco Resort
will take about 30 minutes from Kota Kinabalu International Airport to
the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal and 20 minutes by ferry to the island
jetty. |
