Entering the Beach Garden Resort past the stone guards gives you immediately the feeling to be cut off completely from the outside world. A short jungle path heading west leads through a lush green jungle like garden, past a small pond down to the beach. At the end of the path when you step out of the shadow of the canopy the bright sunshine reflects on a spot of white, fine sand. It is the open air part of the Beach Garden Resort restaurant, the beer garden. Protected by a sun sail this is an ideal place to enjoy a cool beer from the keg and enjoy the sunset at the same time.

ROOM AMENITIES
Hidden behind lush plants which contribute shadow and cooling fresh air lies the shady corridor of which the rooms are diverted. The rooms are sufficiently large and uncompromising clean. Each of the 12 marble tiled guest rooms is arranged tastefully with rattan furniture and is equipped with air-conditioning, a small refrigerator and a room safe. The adjacent bathroom contain shower and hot water. Admitted, the space in front of the rooms is small, but instead of a terrace just a few steps away is the sundeck right at the beach.

FACILITIES
The sun deck is actually no sun deck. It's more a fine sandy beach on which you will find the lazy chairs covered by straw mushrooms. This area belongs to the Beach Garden Resort property and is delimited to the public beach with only a bamboo fence and palms trees. More is also not necessary because this "borderline" is sufficiently respected. If you like to have it a bit cooler than on the beach, just move to the pond.. o.k. its not really a pond, more a mini pool. Here you will find some shadow and you are able to avoid the sun beams by hiding under a cozy Balinese bower instead of barricading yourself in the hotel room. Jump in the water and have a refreshment.

If you run out of books only a couple of steps away, in the reception, is the library with a wide selection on books in several languages. There will be something for your taste as well. You also can sit in the TV hutch just around the corner and watch a football game, in case there is one on schedule.

Wherever you are inside the Beach Garden Resort the restaurant services is around and a cold Drink, a coffee or a Snack is easy to order. That is actually one of the big advantages of the Beach Garden Resort. It is a beach hotel of the short ways and the sea and services are always near you.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
The indoor part of the restaurant reminds of an traditional Bavarian breakfast room and is decorated with Balinese masks. The actual Beer Garden is just outside. Sure, there are no chestnut trees, but palm trees and sun sails contribute the shadow. Instead of a firm ground fine sand will please your feet.

The friendly and competent personnel in kitchen and restaurant serves international and local dishes. On an island, fresh seafood is a "MUST", says our chef from Austria. If you don't like fish or you have eaten it to many times you are not lost at all. You can choose of a large selection of pizzas, pastas and beef dishes. Fresh salads, delicious snacks as well as the heavenly desserts make your meal to a culinary pleasure. The well equipped bar offers drinks for each taste. Let it be an aperitif, a cool beer of the keg, a tropical or more classic cocktail or a "Schnaps" for better digestion. As Langkawi is a duty free island, there is a large selection of fine, imported wines which can be offered at moderate prices. In the meantime the kitchen of Beach Garden Resort is recognized world wide and you only will regret that you didn't checked in here in the first place.
