FACILITIES
Whether your stay includes total relaxation, leisured recreation or outdoor adventure, Damai Puri offers a myriad of activities for the young and young at heart from bicycling, jogging and beach volleyball to golf at the putting green, lawn bowling, dance lessons, kayaking, windsurfing and jungle trekking or even mountain climbing.

Sports & Recreation Centre The Sports and Recreation Centre is located at the end of the Ocean Wing, close to the tennis court and Kids Club. Featuring a host of facilities including indoor games such as table tennis, mahjong, carrom, and backgammon, the Sports & Recreation Centre makes the perfect place for our guests to relax or past time leisurely.  The Sports & Recreation Centre is also the centre for information on other sporting and recreational activities and facilities. Water Sports Centre No seaside holiday is complete without a splash in the warm, tropical waters off the beach. Head for the comprehensive Water Sports Centre, located on the which offers a wide range and variety of sea activities for water enthusiasts, including Banana Boat rides, bay fishing, kayaking, jet-skiing, para-sailing, water-skiing and windsurfing. Equipment rentals are also available.

Swimming Pools The resort has two swimming pools within its landscaped gardens; the emerald green Infinity Pool at the Spa Wing and the exhilarating Family Fun Pool at the Ocean Wing. With its infinity-edge, the expansive pool at the Spa Wing seems to blend into the beautiful waters of the South China Sea.  A large outdoor Jacuzzi area enhances the leisurely and relaxing qualities of this pool. Kicking it up a few notches for the more spirited guests the Family Fun Pool, located in the Ocean Wing, creates hours of amusement and excitement with the exhilarating features of 3 slides, a water fountains area and several water umbrellas. Float rentals are available from the Pool Towel Counter.

Gymnasium Our signature gymnasium is located at Level 2 of the Spa Wing. The gym is fitted with state of the art aerobic and training equipment currently available, showcasing the latest range of fitness equipment from Clark Hatch Fitness Centre.  Professional advice is available from the resident gym instructor with tailor-made training programmes available on request. The gymnasium also has separate men's and ladies changing rooms.

Tennis Courts The outdoor tennis courts are located at the east end of the Ocean Wing, at the foot of Mount Santubong.  Racquet rental is available and advance booking is necessary. Advance bookings are required and whilst use of courts is free of charge between 7.00am and 7.00pm, a nominal fee is applicable for night time play.

Kids Club
A place set up especially for children between the ages of 3 years old to 12 years old where the kids will have plenty of fun and things to do while their parents can set their minds at ease with the knowledge that the children will be well attended to. This is a club where the children can learn and play while they stay.  Wonderful activities available for our Minor Important People are Batik Painting, Kite Flying, Leaf Painting, Sandcastle Building, Jigsaw Puzzle, Colouring Competition and etc.

GETTING AROUND
Damai Puri Resort & Spa nestles upon the pristine surrounds of picturesque Damai Beach, just 30kms from Kuching city in Sarawak and 40kms from the Kuching International Airport. Just 3 minutes’ walk away is the world famous Sarawak Cultural Village which hosts the annual World Rainforest Music Festival.  The Bako National Park, Satang Island and Santubong River are nearby places of natural attractions.

Kuching is serviced by two Malaysian-based carriers, Malaysia Airlines and Air Asia, which fly in from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu. These carriers also provide direct flights from Pontianak, Indonesia and Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darusssalam, Singapore and Hong Kong into the city. On arrival at the Kuching International Airport, visitors may take a taxi or rent a car to go into Kuching city, which takes about 20 minutes
