The Resort has 224 spacious rooms and suites in 2-storey buildings, chalets and ethnically designed units on Beach and Hilltop Wings. Each room type is specially designed to reflect the rich and diverse ethnic background, complimenting the local Sarawakian identity that Damai Beach Resort clearly portrays. One exceptional feature of the Resorts rooms, are the capacity and luxurious layout of its room space. From 35.6sm to 86.2sm, the Resort’s rooms are by far the largest in terms of space, thus granting absolute comfort to guests, be it couples or families.

All Resort rooms are individually air-conditioned, with private bath/shower, hot/cold water, hair-dryer, complimentary coffee/tea making facilities, and either 1 king-size or 2 queen size beds, TV with satellite news and entertainment channels, mini-bar and IDD telephone services.

The resort provides rooms and facilities catering for medium-sized and small banquets, business meetings, seminars,conventions and theme parties.

Casuarina - Caters from small to medium-sized functions between 60 to 240 persons.

Casuarina II - Perfect for meetings and small functions from 20 to 80 persons

Ranchang Room - Seat up to 150 person for banquest or 240 persons theatre-style. Can be divided into two separate units

The Resort accommodates 5 Food and Beverage outlets offering a wide variety of popular local and international dishes. From a nice breakfast buffet to the freshest seafood platter, from the aroma of coffee in the mornings to a tropical cocktail by the moonlight, Damai Beach Resort has it all. Cafe Satang is the main resaurant of the Resort. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, Cafe Satang offers a wide variety of popular local and international dishes. Located in the main lobby.

The signature seafood haven, the Fisherman’s Catch, is the choice of many. The restaurant is comfortably sea-front nestled, with candle-lit atmosphere and a concoction of an extensive selection of fresh seafood, capable of satisfying even the fastidious customer ! Mango Tree Terrace is an open-air bar serving practically every beverage concoction under the sun. From Slippery Senyorita’s to ‘Honey, shaken not stirred’, they are something to watch out for!!

Wind down after a hectic day at the Santubong Bar. A contemporary-designed bar with various choices of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accompanied by soothing, relaxing and contemporary music, it is a great place to just ‘hang out’.

An alternative to a quiet, absolutely tranquil, exclusive dining surrounded by lush greenery is the TREES. Opening its doors solely for dinner and private functions, TREES presents an exclusive, comfortable and private dining experience.

Clifftop Pool Terrace provides an excellent venue for light snacks and some quiet time. With an open-air deck offering guests all-day lounging and a bird’s eye view of the South China Sea, it serves the latest craze of American-portioned sandwiches, complimented by an interesting array of tropical cocktails and spectacular panorama.

GETTING AROUND
The Resort is situated at the sandy beach of Teluk Bandung facing the South China Sea. It is approximately 45km (50 minutes’ drive) from the Kuching International Airport and 35km (40 minutes’ drive) from the Kuching city. For the convenience of guests, shuttle services are available to/from Kuching city. The Resort is located nearby the infamous Sarawak Cultural Village, South East Asia’s only ‘living museum’ and the prestigious Damai Golf and Country Club.
