701 guest rooms (654 guest rooms and 47 suites) - A great deal of care and meticulous attention has gone into each of Shangri-La's 701 spacious and tastefully furnished rooms to ensure comfort. Each room is centrally air-conditioned and has a minimum of 398 square feet (37 square meters) and comes with an impressive list of amenities to help guests enjoy their stay. The handicapped are not forgotten in Shangri-La. They are provided with wider rooms with wider doors, equipped with hand rails and special bathroom facilities. Wash basins are lower to enable a person on wheelchair convenient access.
