The
original landscape was an overexploited tract of unproductive hilly
slope. A desire to rehabilitate and conserve leads to development of a
realistic and viable green environment. While pine trees are adopted as
the canopy cover, the rest of the landscaping includes local species,
such as the native cabbage and yellow lily plant; are laid out as shrubs
and ground cover. This is a private effort to increase the biodiversity
of Kundasang given its unique geography and climate.
ROOM
AMENITIES
The only resort
in Kundasang that offers maqnificient views of Mount Kinabalu from the
vantage point of every room. An alpine country backdrop is complimented
by timber chalets with wide verandahs, a hallmark of traditional
Malaysian architecture. The construction is primarily a local hardwood
known as 'selangan batu' (shorea maxwelliana), meaning 'hard as rock' in
Malay, has almost double the compressive strength of average cured
concrete.

sure you request for our steamboat on a cool windy night. Sing the night
away at our Karaoke Lounge open nightly from 9:00pm to 11:30pm or choose
