Day 1
(Swiss Garden Hotel Kuantan)
Depart from Kuala Lumpur to TASIK CHINI (LAKE), cruise around the lake to
view the beautiful lotus, visit Orang Asli village (aborigine settlement)
and try the native blowpipe hunting skills.
Day 2
(Grand Continental Hotel Kuala Terengganu)
Breakfast, head north to Kuala Terengganu via coastal
road. Enroute, visit CHERATING village, RANTAU ABANG Turtle Information
Centre and KUALA TERENGGANU TOWN TOUR, drive along the long roof China
Town, Princess Hill, Waterfront, Maziah Palace, State Mosque, and visit
the colourful Central Market, then proceed to State Museum (the largest
museum in Southeast Asia with outdoor and indoor museum). Visit a unique
boat building at the fishing village of Duyung Island, beautifully squeeze
in the middle of Terengganu River mouth. At the headland of Duyung Island,
there is a fine view of China Town wooden stilt houses.
Day 3
(Grand Continental Hotel Kuala Terengganu)
Breakfast, depart to KAPAS
ISLAND (marine park) by boat. On arrival,
swimming or stroll around the white sandy beach/lunch, snorkelling by boat.
Transfer back to Hotel Grand Continental KTG.
Day 4
(Renaissance Hotel Kota Bharu)
Breakfast, depart to the picturesque Marang fishing
village. MARANG RIVER SAFARI - cruise up to Marang River… along the mangrove
swamp river, you will be greeted by wild animals like monitor lizards,
monkeys, crabs, colourful birds, eagles and sometime an otters. Witness the
traditional live style of Terengganu villagers which included stop at one of
the riverside village and visit several cottage industries like Attap leave
roof weaving and coconut sugar making. A scenic drive along the coastal road
through Merang and Penarik to Kota Bahru. (Optional: cultural show available
on Wednesday & Saturday night)
Day 5
(Renaissance Hotel Kota Bharu)
Breakfast, KOTA BHARU SIGHTSEEING - your tour will
features Malaysia most famous and colourful central market, kite making
centre at PCB beach, silver wares and Tumpat village - home for many Buddha
temples, such as Wat Pothivihan - housing the country’s largest reclining
Buddha. Visit night market this evening.
Day 6
Breakfast and transfer to airport for onwards flight or extension stay.
