Meet and greet upon arrival at Miri Airport and
proceed for city tour. Drive up Canada Hill overlooking the town. Situated
on top of the Canada Hill, the Grand Oil Lady is the first oil well in
Malaysia.
You will be briefed on the historical
development of Miri, due largely to the influence of the discovery of oil
when Miri’s first oil was spud in 1910. This oil well, now known as the
Grand Old Lady, sits as a relic on Canada Hill.
Visit the bustling Farmer’s Market or commonly
called the ‘Tamu’. Tamu Muhibbah is a colourful native market where you
will find a wide range of exotic fruits and vegetables, produce from the
interior, including the fragrant Bario Rice.
Don’t forget to stop at the Toaist Temple than
drive through the oil refinery district of Lutong/Pisau and padd the ‘old’
section of Miri town of local bazaars. The city fan was built as part of
the master plan for Miri to become a healthy resort. After the 3 hours
city tour check into your hotel for overnight.

08:00am, Depart from Miri and continue overland
to Bandar Seri Begawan. This tour allows you to explore the history,
culture and tradition of Brunei Darussalam. Later, we will pass through
the busy government and commercial center of Bandar Seri Begawan to the
Brunei Museum via the science route.
You will also have the chance to view the
Venice of the East (The Water Village). The Water Village of Bandar Seri
Begawan is the home of some 30,000 people, next stop is the Royal Regalia
Hall which houses the royal items used during the coronation and silver
jubilee celebration of the 29th Sultan of Brunei.
Next, the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque was
named after the 28th sultan of Brunei. Designed by an Italian architect,
the mosque was built in 1958 in the city of Bandar seri Begawan. The
golden-domed structure, the tallest building in the city, has Italian
marble floors and walls. A stone replica of a 16th century barge rests in
the Brunei River in front of the mosque. Before the tour ends we will
drive past the world’s largest residential palace- Istana Nurul Iman and
you will have the chance to take the best view of the palace from the
nearby ASEAN Park. Transfer back to Miri. (Lunch)
