Nexus 14:00pm) Depart from selected hotel & drive towards the southern
part of Sabah. Enjoy the vast countryside view along the way. Arrive for
Klias River, located in the Southern Region of Sabah. Afternoon tea with
some of our local pastry will be served. If time permits, you may get a
chance to practice your skill on fresh water prawn fishing.
Proceed on a boat
cruise along the Klias River, which is a Wetland Forest Reserve. Visitors
will have good opportunity of sighting some of our wildlife in their
natural habitats. Wildlife normally can be spotted are the Long Tail
Macaque monkeys, Silver Langur monkeys, variety of birds species and
especially our well known Proboscis Monkeys. Local fisherman fishing for
fresh water prawns and fish also part of our sighting.
Continue boat excursion
but this time search for the night star of Klias Wetlands Reserved. The
volume of fireflies surrounding the Klias River will astonish you. Local
Malay style dinner will be served after the end of the tour. 20:15pm -
Depart Klias River for the journey back to hotel.

Meet at hotel lobby (KK City - 08:00am / Nexus : 09:00am) and proceed for
a 45 minutes drive to Kionsom, Inanam. Enjoy the scenic drive through the
countryside; pass the chili & local fruits farms as well as the odd paddy
fields along the way. See the big Bambangan trees along the route.
Upon reaching the farm, enjoy walking among the native & some rare North
Borneo orchids and be captivated by some of the prize-winning hybrids.
They are more than 200 species and sub species found here. Apart from
orchid, they are also has cactus & other flowering plant found there.
After a brief visit, have a rest for local coffee or tea, & tidbits.
